Bread Pudding

1 1/2 cups dry, stale bread (broken) 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons melted butter 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
1/3 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs
Serves 6
 

Instructions:

In a large bowl, soak bread in milk for 15 minutes. Stir in butter and seasonings. Beat eggs and add, stirring in gently but thoroughly. Pour into greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour. Serve hot.
