Apple Streusel Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Davis Baking Mix
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. milk
2 cups sliced, peeled apples (about 2 medium)
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 cup boiling water
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix Davis Baking Mix and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir in milk. Pour into ungreased 9 x 9 inch pan. Top with apples; sprinkle with lemon juice. Pour boiling water over apples. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Bake one hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Yield: 10 slices
