| 1/2 cup margarine, softened | 1 1/2 cups mashed banana |
| 1 cup granulated sugar | 1/2 cup grated fresh apple |
| 2 eggs | 6 red maraschino cherries, drained and sliced |
| 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour | 6 green maraschino cherries, drained and sliced |
1 1/2 teaspoons Davis Baking Powder |
1 cup chopped pecans |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons orange juice |
| 1/2 teaspoon baking soda | |

Yield: 2 loaves |

Instructions: Preheat oven to350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 7 1/2 x 3 3/4-inch loaf pans. In a large bowl beat together margarine and sugar until creamy; beat in eggs until mixture is light and fluffy. In a separate bowl sift together dry ingredients; alternately blend dry mixture and mashed banana into margarine mixture. Stir in apple, cherries, nuts and orange juice. Spoon batter into the two prepared loaf
pans. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 55 to 60 minutes or until toothpick
